Improving your Green Screen shooting and keying skills.

(One day class)

Frank Rohmer

This one day hands on course will teach you everything you need to know about capturing quality green screen footage and how to get the best keys using Final Cut Pro, Motion, and/or some popular third party applications.

Students will learn first hand how to setup and light a green screen for the best possible results. Footage shot during the first half of the class will be distributed to students for actual keying exercises during the second half of the class. Frank will guide you step by step through the process of pulling good keys. You’ll be introduced to techniques for using different backgrounds and virtual sets. He will also cover various video formats and the pros and cons of each as they relate to green screen production.

Although not required, students are encouraged to bring their computers to class so they can follow along with the lessons.
